THE CRUX OF THE HOLY DOCTRINE

The Crux of the Holy Doctrine

The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. The Bible divulges the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the kismet of sinners and the ecstasy of believers. Its doctrines are sacred, precepts binding, histories factual and verdicts immutable. The Bible is the divine breath (2 Tim. 3:16), the spiritual milk (1 Peter 2:2) and the bread of life (Mathew 4:4, Deuteronomy 8:3). All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3: 16-17). It contains the prophecies made to the mankind for its fulfilment. The core theme of the Bible is the Kingdom of God and the crux is man’s salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible is the word of God which is spirit and life (John 6:63). The Bible’s great message is the revelation of Jesus Christ, the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God (Titus 2:13, Romans 9:5) and His work for man’s salvation. The Bible unfolds the significant aspects of human mystery by telling how God created everything including human beings, and how sin & death first came into the world and God’s wonderful plan for restoration and eternal life to the mankind. When read fervently, it fills the reader’s memory with divine thoughts, rules the heart with love & compassion, and guides the feet to walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, a river of pleasure, and a lamp to the feet and light to the path (Psalm 119:105). The Bible gives guidance, edification, enlightenment and education. Its myth, history, tradition, laws, letters, songs, prophecies, biographies, prayers, miracles, proverbs, parables and tales of the past, give insight and inspiration to the quest for truth, and the truth shall set man free from sin (John 8:32). One who rejects the Word, shall be judged on the last day (John 12:48).

The Bible is not merely a book; it is the God’s own personal revelation of Himself to us. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct, food to support and comfort to cheer the mankind. It is the traveller’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword and the believer’s charter. Here the paradise is restored, heaven opened for the righteous and the gates of hell disclosed.

The Bible is the Holy Word of God. It is given to man in life, will be opened at the Judgment, and will be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labour, and condemns all who trifle with its sacred contents. "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but the word of God shall not pass away" (Matthew 24:35).
