Live Forever Young is a fantasy and a reverie for every human being in this transitory world. Men with relentless efforts have long searched for a way to stay young forever until today because they desire to live and have an endless future. The scientific quest to live forever young is still in progression by being skeptical of God’s promise made to mankind in the Holy Scriptures. The Bible says that ‘Life forevermore is the blessing of God’ (Psalm 133:3) to mankind and whoever does the will of God remains forever (1 John 2:17b). Remember, God is not a man that he should lie (Numbers 23:19). Live forever young is the ultimate destiny of human life, promised by God to the people who abide faith in Him and does His will. Unto them, there shall be no more sickness, old age and death (Revelation 21:3, 4). The old shall become young again, the sick will be made well and the lame, blind, deaf and speechless will have all their ailments healed (Isaiah 35:5, 6, Job 33:25) and the dead will be brought back to life (Revelation 20:13). Live forever young is not just a dream but a blessing from God. Men should therefore be ready to take in the precise knowledge of God, recognize His purposes and requirements (John 17:3) and endeavor to do His will on earth to live young forever more happily and peacefully. A wise man will hear and will increase learning, and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels (Proverbs 1:5). The Bible’s promise is certain to be fulfilled and the righteous will possess the earth and will reside forever (Psalm 37:29). The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God shall stand forever (Isaiah 40:8). Jesus, more assuredly said he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. The Spirit of God gives life to our mortal bodies (Romans 8:11). Our vile (lowly) body will be transformed into His glorious body (Philippians 3:21). The scripture says that whoever believes in Him and calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:11-13). Those who belong to Jesus have everlasting life. “…the Lord Knows those who are His” (2 Timothy 2:19). When our body dies our spirit goes back to God. “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7). To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). Isn’t it wonderful that we go back to the Lord forever (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) and we shall be like the Lord. David the Psalmist says, “…I shall be satisfied when I awake with Thy likeness” (Psalm 17:15). Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is (1 John 3:2). Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (1 Corinthians 15: 51-52). For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven (Mark 12:25). God has many surprises for those who love Him. “…Eye has not seen, for ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared to those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Jesus says “…I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). “…I live, ye shall live also (John 14:19) forevermore. So, Holy brethren, be partakers of the heavenly calling and be faithful to Him (Hebrew 3:1). Amen.
